Greatsociety.org, founded in April of 2001, has seen many changes over the years. This current version dates back to 2007, and we have the older version buried right here in the deep, dark tomb.
Your gentle eyes, spoiled by Web 2.0, won’t be able to handle the really old shit.
When I started the site, the idea was to practice writing. If I wrote X amount a day, then I was doing okay. That’s the idea behind the current serials project, but, really, it’s a site about tangents, and ranting, and venting.
–Nacho Sasha
Meet the (current) authors:
Nacho Sasha
Born in DC, raised in Silver Spring, and hating the suburbs, Nacho went to a small college in West Virginia where he learned how to clean and prepare ramps, drink in the morning, and run a still.
He’s worked for the Associated Press, Oxford Intelligence, and as a freelance business writer. He’s the founder of a publishing company, works several idiotic wage slave jobs to fuel his publishing habit, and moonlights as a publicist and marketing consultant for self-published authors and indie presses.
Cassander
A North Carolina boy gone wrong. Cassander fell in love and moved to New Orleans only to be chased away by Katrina. Never one to admit defeat, he returned to and currently lives in NOLA.
Cassander’s a musician and author, freelance reviewer and music guru, and connoisseur of Abita beer. He also knows how to measure you for a tux.
