Here we go, kiddies!  Which one of your four uncontested district judges won (vote only for four)?

Let's focus on the important stuff.

Will the Parks and Recreation Bond get approved?

I don't know where to post.  I just voted though.  Over half of the people running in North Fulton County are running unopposed.  My boss says it's because that area is so red, the Democrats don't even bother because they know they'll lose.

My vote's in as well.  Two greens this time, because I had no choice.

The Goblin, because I hate Chris Van Hollen:

And Zeese, because it doesn't matter and he's funny:

I voted Dem down the line because the third partiers in VA are whack-os.

Yeah, I did the same thing.  The only other person I voted for was a district judge and that was only because I'd seen the commercial for the person running against her about 40 times on TV and it was the most annoying and obnoxious commercial I have ever seen.  Like... neo-nazi, arch-conservative crap.  Otherwise, I just didn't vote when I had no idea what the person was about.

On another note, my buddy and I decided to count signs on our way home from work last night.  Our drive is roughly 11 miles or so, mostly down backroads in Alpharetta and Roswell... we cross a few major intersections and stuff too.  We counted 453 signs.  There were even more this morning... too many to count without crashing the car into something.

I wonder what happens to all those signs... There's a good story idea.  The political sign graveyard.

i remember quite a few of them, the small temporary ones, just rotting.  The ones in traffic islands probably get pulled by some crew in the next month or three.  i bet less than 5% get recycled.

Was near White Flint mall Saturday evening and saw a bunch of those signs with a piece of paper stapled to them:

THESE SIGNS ARE PLACED ILLEGALLY
WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU ABOUT
THE CANDIDATE?!?!?!

Oh, snore...

Technical problems with new voting machines frustrated some voters in Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey and several other states as voting got underway this morning, but the computer glitches and other delays did not appear to be widespread or politically motivated, election monitors said.

I, for one, would welcome the UN monitoring our elections.  If we could get some international body like the World Bank, to mandate using better equipment and procedures that'd be spiffy too.
