Sesame Street didn't promote the same level of fantasy. That's my trouble with these things. They didn't make food into some sort of happy creature that danced in your stomach. Yes, it's muppets and talking birds and vampire mathematicians, but there's a more responsible approach to education and reality.

Well, okay. But the underlying message of this song is: eat your vegetables. Young kids don't understand why that's a good thing necessarily, so if Kermit the Frog, or DJ Lance Rock get them to have fun doing it...no biggie.

Now that my kids are older (5 & 7) they wouldn't watch Yo Gabba Gabba for more than a minute.
