But...it is. Have you not been following the Hathaway backlash? It's just about the only talking point surrounding the new Batman...to the point where I wonder if it's just some big stunt to get us in the theaters.

I don't follow movie news beyond what I see here, and I don't understand why they need talking points.  This movie doesn't come out for a year!

Oh, well, by virtue of the one million blogs I subscribe to and obsessively read four hours a day, I'm the recipient of the fucking shit avalanche that's come about because everyone thinks Hathaway is a bad pick for Catwoman. There's this weird hatred for Hathaway post-Oscars, I guess. Or something. I skim and try to ignore it because...seriously...she's a better pick than the last few portrayals!

She's responded like the crazy little thing she is and started heckling her hecklers and getting huffy and mean. So the press are eating that up because every Batman movie needs a controversial star and Bale is boring these days.

Now she's doing the talk show circuit, mainly because of the "backlash," and talking all about it.

It's mind-numbingly painful and stupid.

I think she's a great choice. The costume is a little "meh" but I still think she can sell it.
