So, Starz is jumping on the "let's be a movie channel that does a TV show with cursing and tits" bandwagon.  A show by Rob Thomas and Paul Rudd about a catering company in LA made up of failed actors, writers, and stand up comedians getting into crazy hijinks at all their events.  Nacho, you would definitely like this because of your wedding job.  This show is fucking hilarious.  L and I have torn through the whole season in two days. 

There's the dumb pretty boy, the nerd "hard sci-fi" script writer, the ex-70s experimental actress (Jane Lynch doing what she always does well), and a cute would-be couple of failed celebrities slinging hors'dourves and tending bar to eccentric people.  And their gone-straight, wannabe franchise restaurant owner "team leader."

It's weird... It's not really good, but the cast is great.  It's like they got a bunch of people who could entertain you just by sitting on a stool and reading the newspaper...

And the brunette is hot.

And, yes, part of the problem is that it might be a little too close to the wedding job for comfort.

Also, I'm now convinced that everything Jane Lynch does is funny, even if she's not trying.

Episode five now.  And happily continuing.

It's hard to describe.  It's like I enjoy the characters but not the show.  I don't know, I'm a retard.  Fortunately, I enjoy them enough to keep watching.

And, yeah, the bird thing was funny.  As well as the live action Old MacDonald.  I'm a coooow.  My teats are ready for mmmilking!

Okay, the Russian mafia episode is hilarious.

And I just figured out my obsession with Casey -- it's because she spent the last half of True Blood season one naked and sweaty.

Well, done with the season.  I might disagree with you on the quality, Cass.

That said, I'll still watch the next season...

i think you're just jealous that you can't do the hijinks they do while you're working weddings.

Ok, I just got around to this show... hilarious.  It reminds me of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia for some reason.  I think it's very funny... Ron is basically Michael Scott running a catering company and he slays me.

Great recommendation... I just made it through the first season and can't wait to start on the second.

hell's yeah.  i think the main couple in this are a lot cooler than jim and pam.

Yeah, they definitely are.  Jim and Pam were great early on, but now that they're married it's kind of boring.

Now The Office is all about Erin and Andy's romance!  And, in eight seasons, it'll be about two of Angela's cats falling in love.
