yep, it sounds like (from a really poorly written AP article I read today) we're going to end up just lowering the minimum age for Medicare and lowering the bar for qualifying for Medicaid (to 300% above poverty level).  Sounds...stupid, of course!  but most compromises in Congress are.

We'll raise taxes regardless on the middle-class because we can't afford to send 30,000 more troops and still give billions to bankers. Dr. Sam would be better because as it is now, the health care bill mandates you have insurance anyway so you're basically forced to give money to private health insurers for less coverage.
