It's the adventures of me Sir Digby Chicken Caesar

It's getting lukewarm reviews, but the English major in me desperately wants to check it out...

I'm not sure if this isn't the first video game based on classic literature... maybe we'll have an Odyssey game in the future?

10 years worth of gameplay in which, mainly, you're piloting a ship with a fractious yet largely redshirt crew, or under the influence of a drug!

Looks like it has... Nothing to do with Dante's Inferno. At all.

Tyson don't you remember when Dante wrote of his three foot scythe as he sliced through demonhordes? It's in the 5th canto.

That's where you can unlock the secret cow level if you attack Virgil and then immediately apologize.

I wrote a a script quite a few years back about dead people winding their way through the nine levels of hell. I should check out this game to see if I can sue anybody.

Dude, have you played Choking Desdemona?  And have you seen that Japanese horror movie, Female Attack Squad Students?

No, you haven't.

Have you seen Zombieland?  As a horror guy (per your previous post about stupid Daybreakers), YOU MUST!

Also, this is a public forum.  Switch to elsewhere if you want to tell the story.

And watch Zombieland.  Did you write a zany comedy that threw all the zombie movie cliches out the door?

I wish.

Still haven't seen i, but it's on my Netflix Queue.

I still have Inglorious Basterds, Burn After Reading, and The Curious Case of Benjiman Button on my shelf.

And my copy of The Brain That Wouldn't Die just arrived from Amazon!

You can skip Burn After Reading and Button, man.

And The Brain That Wouldn't Die?  Really?  Like...the MST3K version?  Because that's the only possible way any sane or sober man could even struggle through that movie.

'Helena" is doing the hosting honors of that one during the Horrhound Weekend's 48 hour marathon of bad movies.

Oh!  Well, then that's fine.  Perfect, even.  Because, otherwise, I'd have to schedule an intervention.

Do watch the MST3K version, though, since that's more famous than the movie itself.  You don't want to retread jokes (or miss any).  (Word of advice from an audience member, because everybody will think of the MST3K jokes. Trust me.)

Our plan is to watch the regular version first, then come up with the 'Helena' schtick, then see what the MST3K guys came up with. My understanding is that's it's a MST3K style presentation which means she'll be gabbing through the whole movie.
