Trailer for the next review. . . . whatever it is. He's really smart doing this. I mean, he has to know that a good portion of his audience will never return after he posts the Episode III review. He's taking advantage of the attention he has now in order to build a loyal following.

I think it's going to be gangbusters.  He's also working on that following through the (actually well done) sub-plot with the hooker.

Hmmm...

He did Star Trek.  Which I don't know if I'm happy about.  It's like when Rifftrax does good movies.  It just doesn't seem right.

I guess I'll try it, but I'm not going to watch it if he trashes the movie.  This is a big mistake, in my opinion.

Wow... He compares it to The Motion Picture...

He also goes through pains to say that it's a very good movie... And puts it on a chart with all the films as the best "less boring" Star Trek.  Then launches from there into the problems.

Interesting... And...He's got me.  I'm tuned in.

Holy shit.  This review is incredible. It's not funny.  It's simply commentary on the franchise and how movies are made.  It's amazing.

Okay.  The review's amazing.  It changes my life, actually.  And part two devolves into complaining about the Star Wars prequels.  But it all is incredibly on target.

This guy should be teaching classes.

So I get in from my night job at 2:30am and sit down with diner and say, I'll just watch a bit of the new Star Trek review." I watch part one, love it and tell myself to go to bed. Then I'm like, "I'll just watch the beginning of part two." I watched the whole thing. I was up until 4:00am.

This guy's reviews are better than most shit on TV.

I just love that he sort of loves the new Star Trek. It's more just critical analysis and deconstruction than the rage of his other reviews.

And...now I want that same deconstruction for every movie. Why did we all love Die Hard, Mr. Plinkett?
