So, USA sprints past China today in total medal count and ties them up in Golds. And this before the track and field...where I'm not sure if we'll see many from China.

Also, USA basketball beats Nigeria 156 - 73. That's right, they won by 83...ten points more than doubling the Nigerians.

3rd? We're in first and bringing it home. 10 more than China now.

Up till today, the medal counts I got everywhere have China first, US second, and the UK closing (though about 10-15 behind).

But now we're first!

I go by the gold count. Those silver and bronze people are losers!

I used a weighted system that allots 3 points for gold, 2 for silver and 1 for bronze.
