You know, looking back, Krofft Superstars is probably what was really wrong with my childhood...

Also, because children's programming in the late 70's and early 80's only amounted to a few hours a day, we were inundated with reruns.  So an entire generation of latchkey kids sat and watched shit like I Dream of Jeannie and  F-Troop.  But, in addition to the above, Krofft Phase One (from the 60's) was always repeated:

And, yes, Sirharles, that's a young Jeff MacKay in Dr. Shrinker (originally 1975).

Also, I've judged all women against my childhood crush on Judy Strangis.

Banana Splits!
There will come a day for every man when he will relish the prospect of eating his own shit. That day has yet to come for me.

The only show that can drive a six year old to drink.

Ok, I think I remember these shows.... vaguely.  I definitley remember H.R. Pufnstuf... and I think there was a band involved somewhere.  I dunno, I was very young... like probably 4 or 5 when I watched this stuff on Nickelodeon.

I watched ALL the repeats on Channel 4.

Then I got into MONKEY! magic.

Shit...the most influential cartoon from when I was a kid.  I downloaded these a couple years ago and they're still awesome.
